Day 2

Roanan did great during the night. Life without the feeding tube is much better. He had a bottle this morning with some extra calories (&12,000 Creon) R only ate 1 ounce of it, but every little bit counts. We have spoken to a few people this morning and we have done treatments and CPT. Hopefully the "crew" will come in later this morning and explain the plan for the next 3 weeks. As of right now all monitors are still on and we are doing antibiotics through the broviac. We flushed the broviac this morning and it is working perfectly. It's a struggle to keep Roanan from pulling on it and his monitors fall off all the time. I feel bad for the nurses because they have to keep putting them back on. Thankfully, later today we should get all the monitors off! Woo hoo! Roanan is doing great! We are so thankful for all the prayers and Gods wonderful love and protection.

More good news! The vest people just called and we should have our vest very soon! Yay!
