Momma's notes:
This is such a wonderful place. The nurses are so kind and caring. They are always a click away and I am so thankful for each of them. I have met so many wonderful people and I feel so blessed.

Roanan has been very active since the steroids have kicked it. He went to bed last night around 930 and wine up at 330am never to return to sleep... He took 4 30ish minute naps and he is just now winding down.

His appetite has increased a little bit and that is so exciting to see. His cough is beginning to fade but he is still trying to grunt things up frequently. Our doc says that could partially be a habit and should vanish when the cough does. Praying the Lord will clear up his cough and help R to breath easily.

R is still the happiest kid ever. It seems like every day we add a medicine and that doesn't alter his happiness. He gags down all the sticky liquid and smiles right after he's done. He laughs during nebulizer and vest treatments. R taught me today that no matter the circumstances never lose your smile. God has blessed us with so much that we should never have anything other than a smile on our face. God has given us health care. He has provided us with people who have the education needed to give us long happy lives. He has made insurance available so we can focus on our healthy vs finances. He has given us medications to make us feel better and help us to thrive. What do we have to frown about? Our health may not always be optimal, but our health care can be.

Thank you Lord for my son, he is the light of my life and every day he teaches me about you. I praise you for filling him with you, your love and wisdom I see in him everyday. I praise you for his infectious smile and his health. I pray that you bless him and always have your hands upon him. Thank you Lord for my son, my love for him is breathtaking.
